As Relações Públicas Internacionais como instrumento de política externa brasileira: o caso da Declaração de Teerã

چکیده
A Declaração de Teerã foi um acordo tripartite assinado por Brasil, Turquia e Irã que buscou regulamentar o enriquecimento urânio do país persa consequentemente resolver a celeuma gerada pelo seu programa nuclear. O referido documento, em maio 2010, acabou se configurar num marco da política externa “ativa altiva” empreendida chanceler Celso Amorim nos dois mandatos presidenciais Luiz Inácio Lula Silva. Neste artigo, atuação comitiva brasileira nesse episódio é analisada sob ótica das Relações Públicas Internacionais, processo comunicacional utilizado pelos diplomatas com objetivo construir uma imagem pública positiva seus países perante opinião internacional. Com os resultados, espera-se contribuir para compreensão protagonismo alcançado Brasil no cenário internacional na década passada.
